Hi,
nun hat Catherine Pinard es auch auf ihrer Homepage veröffentlicht: alle Hunde verkauft, wird so bald keine Rennen mehr fahren. War mit Sicherheit nicht mit einem Lance oder Gatt zu vergleichen denn sie hatte auch ein junges Team. Dennoch eine sehr nette freundliche Musherin, wo ich es sehr schade finde sie nicht mehr on the Race zu sehen. Anbei ihre Worte:

Or the serene weariness after the race…

The rivers, or the forests…
Is it the dancing flames of the campfire,
When alone and far away,
We were one in the immensity of the night…
Is it their joy or their giving nature,
Their trust or their willingness,
Is it their happiness, or their honesty,
Their presence, or their loyalty…
It was a dream in the heart of a little girl,
It was reality, in the life of a woman,

Memories
And they will never go away…

For those who didn’t know already, in September the dogs and I went on different trails. The reasons to quit were many, and so were the reasons to continue. But it is time to turn the page and go on a different “Quest”.
To all of you, thank you for the support, the friendship, thanks for having shared the passion…
It was a great adventure.

Als die YQ Crew von Mile 101 eine kurze Nachricht an Catherine Pinard (Happy Trails...) schickte, stellte sich heraus, dass die Musherin im Augenblick in Indien ist.
